You will have the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the captivating gastronomic culture of Popayán, a city renowned for its rich culinary traditions. With its diverse geography, social influences, and the historical significance of the Cauca department, Popayán has developed a fascinating gastronomic heritage. The city's Gastronomic Congress, held since 2003 and attracting over 30,000 visitors, is a testament to the culinary importance of the region.

Our tour takes you through the streets of the historic center, providing insights into the local gastronomic culture, the renowned festival, and the significance of the UNESCO declaration. We will try the famous pipián empanadas, hervidos, carantantas, aplanchados, Eduardo Santos (dessert with the name of a former president) and salpicones. Today it is best, if we only have a small lunch!
