We will begin with stunning panoramic viewpoints, offering unforgettable photo opportunities overlooking the historic center and the impressive castle complex. After the scenic introduction, your guide will lead you through the beautiful castle courtyards, sharing stories and historical insights about this remarkable complex, which uniquely combines both a castle and a chateau. Step inside the extraordinary world of Bohemian nobility at Český Krumlov Castle, one of the most magnificent and best-preserved castle complexes in Central Europe. The journey begins in the atmospheric Third Courtyard, followed by the Castle Chapel of St. George. You then continue into the Rožmberk Hall and Renaissance apartments of the powerful Rožmberk family, featuring original 16th-century wall paintings and richly decorated wooden ceilings. The route continues through the heraldic corridor into the elegant Baroque Schwarzenberg apartments, including the antechamber, Eggenberg Hall with the Golden Carriage, dining room, salon, private bedroom with oriental cabinet, and chapel. The experience culminates in the breathtaking Rococo Masquerade Hall — one of the most impressive ceremonial interiors in Europe. After the castle visit, we continue into the charming district of Latrán — one of the oldest and most picturesque parts of Český Krumlov. Today, the area is filled with small artisan shops, cafés, and boutique stores, creating a lively yet historic atmosphere.
Part of our tour also includes a visit to the beautiful Church of St. Vitus, Český Krumlov, one of the town’s most important Gothic landmarks. The church offers a peaceful contrast to the vibrant old town, with its soaring architecture and calm interior reflecting centuries of history and tradition.
Old Town Walk & Hidden Viewpoint We continue through the atmospheric streets of Český Krumlov, passing the former Jesuit College and quieter backstreets of the old town.
