Begin the adventure with a comfortable 30-minute bus ride to the citadel entrance, where you will present your ticket and passport to enter Machu Picchu (bus ticket and tickets to Machu Picchu are not included) Inside, your guide will take you first to the classic high area to capture the iconic panoramic photo of Machu Picchu and show you the best places for memorable photos. Then you will tour ancient temples, canals, platforms, ceremonial squares and palaces, as you learn the history and secrets of this wonder of the world. After you finish, you can continue exploring on your own or return by bus to Aguas Calientes.
