Learn about the ecosystem and watch for kingfishers, herons, egrets, and ducks. Elephantine Island & Botanical Garden Area – 1 hour Sail close to Elephantine Island and the Botanical Garden shoreline. Enjoy excellent birdwatching conditions as many Nile species gather here. Barbar & Surrounding Channels – 20 minutes Explore smaller channels and shallow areas near Barbar, a favourite habitat for waterbirds. Great for photography and spotting rarer species.
