  At the morning representative will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada or El Gouna and transfer you to Hurghada International Airport for flight to Cairo where you will be met and accompanied by your tour guide Finally you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for flight to Hurghada and then transfer back to your hotel.

  Pyramids of Giza

  where you will be met and accompanied by your tour guide to discover the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, which dates from the time of Chephren, the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren. Lunch will be served at a good quality local restaurant in Cairo.

  Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)

  The only completely preserved portrait of the king is a three-inch high ivory figurine found in a temple ruin of a later period at Abydos in 1903. All other reliefs and statues were found in fragments, and many buildings of Khufu are lost. Everything known about Khufu comes from inscriptions in his necropolis at Giza and later documents. For example, Khufu is the main character noted in the Westcar Papyrus from the 13th dynasty.

  Menkaure's pyramid complex consists of a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king's pyramid. The valley temple once contained several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added on to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also yielded several statues of Menkaure.
