The Bay of Pigs Museum & Brigade 2506 Memorial is Preserving the Legacy of Cuban Exiles. It serves as a powerful tribute to the failed 1961 Bay of Pigs invasion, a critical moment in Cold War history. The museum honors the Cuban exiles who fought to overthrow Fidel Castro’s communist regime. The museum houses a collection of historical artifacts, photographs, and personal testimonies from the veterans of Brigade 2506. Beyond documenting the invasion itself, the museum also explores Cuban-American history, the struggle for democracy, and the impact of the event on U.S.-Cuba relations. Outside, the Brigade 2506 Memorial stands as a solemn reminder of the mission’s significance, with an eternal flame burning in honor of the fallen. (Closed on Sunday)
