After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival in Aswan, you’ll be transferred to begin your sightseeing with a visit to the Philae Temple. Enjoy a scenic motorboat ride across the Nile to reach the enchanting Island of Agilika, home to the beautifully preserved and romantic Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis.
This afternoon, your Egyptologist guide will take you to visit the Aswan High Dam, a modern engineering marvel that stands as a testament to Egypt’s monumental achievements. Afterward, transfer to the Nile Cruise for embarkation. Enjoy lunch on board, followed by dinner and an overnight stay on the cruise.
Enjoy breakfast and lunch on board as you sail towards Kom Ombo. Visit the remarkable twin temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek. This unique temple is situated on a bend of the Nile where, in ancient times, sacred crocodiles once basked in the sun along the riverbank. Return to the Nile Cruise and continue sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay will be on board.
Enjoy breakfast on board before visiting the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. This remarkable temple, buried under sand and silt for nearly two thousand years, is the largest and best-preserved Ptolemaic temple in Egypt. Construction began in 237 B.C., with the main complex taking 25 years to complete.
Sail to Luxor and enjoy lunch on board. Then, visit the magnificent Karnak Temple, a vast complex built over two millennia by successive Pharaohs and dedicated to the god Amun.
