As we walk through the city, we pass by the scenic Kandy Lake — a historic man-made lake located in the heart of the city. It’s a peaceful landmark surrounded by local life, offering great photo opportunities and a glimpse into Kandy’s colonial-era charm.
We explore the vibrant Kandy Market, where you’ll see a colorful variety of local vegetables and learn about their uses in Sri Lankan cooking.
