    You will be picked up by our representative from your centrally located Shanghai hotel, then transferred to the airport to catch a flight to Jiayuguan. Upon arrival, your guide will pick you up and transferred to visit the Wei and Jin Tombs if time permits.

    Jiayuguan to Dunhuang by Car

    Jiayuguan Fortress

    Visit the western end of the Ming Great Wall, Jiyuguan Fortress in the morning, and drive 5 hours to Dunhuang throug the Hexi Corridor and enjoy the imposing scenery of Qilian Mountians and Gobi Desert in the afternoon. Explore the well-known Dunhuang night market tonight.

    Mogao Caves

    Today you will visit the well-known Mogao Caves on the ancient Silk Road. Those caves are well-preserved with colorful frescoes and paintings created thousand years ago, but looks like they were finished just yesterday.
