This two-day journey highlights some of Greece’s most significant historical landmarks, beginning with Ancient Corinth, a major center of the classical world and an important site in early Christianity due to the presence and teachings of the Apostle Paul. It continues to Mystra, the renowned fortified Byzantine city celebrated for its medieval palaces, remarkable frescoed churches, and its role as a flourishing cultural and political hub of the late Byzantine Empire. The itinerary also includes Sparta, the emblematic city-state known for its military legacy, and culminates in Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games and one of the most influential panhellenic sanctuaries, whose archaeological site and museum preserve treasures that illuminate the spiritual and athletic ideals of antiquity.

Departing from Athens, your journey begins at the iconic Corinth Canal, an impressive engineering marvel connecting the Aegean and Ionian Seas. After a short stop for photographs, we continue to Ancient Corinth, one of the most important cities of antiquity.
Accompanied by your professional guide, we explore the archaeological site and museum, discovering not only Corinth’s role in the classical world but also its deep religious significance. This is where the Apostle Paul lived and preached, making the site a key location in early Christian history.
Your route then leads us south to Mystras, a UNESCO-listed fortified Byzantine city. Wandering through its medieval streets, visitors admire beautifully frescoed churches, imperial palaces, and panoramic views over the Laconian plain. An optional lunch in a traditional setting allows time to relax before exploring this atmospheric site.
In the evening, we arrive in Sparta, the legendary city-state renowned for its discipline and warrior culture. Overnight accommodation is provided at the elegant Menelaion Hotel, where guests can enjoy dinner and unwind after a full day of exploration.
After breakfast, we depart for Ancient Olympia, the sacred sanctuary where the Olympic Games were born. Following free time for lunch, we begin our return journey to Athens, concluding a 2-day experience that connects classical antiquity, Byzantine heritage, and early Christian history in one unforgettable journey.
