After meeting your guide, you will board the air-conditioned bus for the long drive to Abu Simbel. • Scenic Drive to Abu Simbel: The journey to Abu Simbel takes approximately 3.5 to 4 hours. During the drive, you will pass through the desert landscape and have the chance to enjoy the changing views as you move closer to the Nubian region.

2Abu Simbel Temple Complex
• Arrival at Abu Simbel: Upon arrival at the Abu Simbel site, you will begin your guided tour of the temples. Your guide will explain the fascinating history behind Ramses II’s decision to build these monumental structures to honor himself and his queen. • Ramses II Temple: The first stop will be the larger of the two temples, dedicated to Ramses II. Admire the colossal statues of Ramses seated on the throne and explore the temple’s interior, with its exquisite carvings and reliefs. Learn about the historical and religious significance of this temple and how it was carefully relocated to prevent it from being submerged in the waters of Lake Nasser. • Nefertari Temple: Continue to the smaller but equally impressive temple dedicated to Ramses II’s beloved wife, Nefertari. While the temple is smaller in size, its decorations are incredibly well-preserved, showcasing vivid colors and beautiful reliefs depicting Queen Nefertari with Ramses II and various gods and goddesses.

• Return Journey to Aswan: After your visit to the temples, board the bus for the return trip to Aswan.
