Classic Middle Ocoee River Adventure

Once you arrive at our adventure resort in Ocoee, TN you will be greeted by our friendly staff and introduced to your whitewater guide and then the fun begins! Your guide will help you get geared up with PFD, helmet and paddle. Then we will load up for the short bus ride to the put-in of the Middle Section of the Ocoee River, the Nation’s most popular whitewater river. After a complete safety briefing and orientation, it’s time to hit the water. Your adventure will take us 5.5 miles down the mighty Ocoee River inside the beautiful Cherokee National Forest. Dropping over 270 feet during our trek we will challenge HUGE waves and tight turns which are typically met with monstrous smiles and roaring laughter all while taming Class III and IV rapids. After almost two hours of a soaked adrenaline experience, we will float into the take-out for our ride back to Adventures Unlimited. Your dry clothes await you as well as the photos from your Ocoee whitewater adventure.

No experience is necessary for whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River and its perfect for groups of all sizes, but the minimum age is 12 years old.
