This safari takes the travelers into a deep personalized experience of the true African wilderness and all that makes Africa particularly Uganda what is it.
While on this safari, the travelers get to experience the hospitality of the Ugandan people, the culture and way of life, local cuisines, weather and environment.
Above all, the travelers get to relish in the beautiful gifts of mother nature to Africa particularly Uganda for example the world's most powerful waterfall i.e. Murchison Falls
Here the travelers will engage in a short hike with a site guide to explore and devour the beauty of the magnificent Aruu Falls in Pader district. The travelers will navigate through the rocky terrain to get to the foot of the falls,. The hike is an incredible experience that will get the travelers excited and warmed up for the rest of the trip.
On this day the travelers will engage in ann early morning game drive to explore and devour the serenity of the incredible landscape furnished with amazingly abundant wildlife mammals, reptiles and birds. During the game drive the travelers should expect to see the largest herds of buffalo that one can see in while Uganda i.e. ranging from 1500 buffaloes to 4000 buffaloes The travelers will also get to engage in a community tour to explore the way of life, the staple foods, the sources of livelihood, the traditional practices, norms and culture of the local tribe around Kidepo Valley National Park known as the Karamojong.
On this day the travelers will depart from Kidepo Valley National Park and proceed to Murchison Falls National Park where they will have a short hike with our guide to the top of the falls to relish in the spectacular sights and sounds of the most powerful waterfall in the world. The Murchison Falls National park formerly known as the Kabalega National Park is the largest national in Uganda and is one of the most visited due to the numerous activities one can partake in as well as the diversity of wildlife species.
On this day, the travelers will rise to an early morning game drive with our guide who will take them on a drive through the different tracks in the park while showing and explaining to them the different wildlife species such as the elephants, buffaloes, hyenas in the mammalia family as well as the birds such as the Abyssinian ground hornbill and reptiles. The travelers will also engage in a boat cruise on the River Nile down to the bottom of the Murchison Falls and along the way they will get to see many aquatic creatures such as the hippopotamuses and the Nile crocodiles among others in their natural habitat.
On the way back to our final drop-off destination, the clients will have a stop at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola district for rhino tracking experience. Together with a site guide, the travelers will be able to track on foot and get to observe the rhinos and learn their behaviours and interesting facts. Hopefully at this point, the travelers will complete the sighting of the BIG FIVE in Africa as they conclude their experience of the 5day Safari to Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls National Park.
