This tour is perfect for the entire family, put on by Bobby’s Bike Hike, whose food tours in just the past year have ranked as Top 10 in America by USA Today and Top 20 in the world by Tripadvisor. Biking is easy in Chicago because of it's miles of bike trails, flat terrain and easy connections between attractions. We’ll be sampling from each of Chicago’s well known and unique foods -- deep dish pizza, a true Chicago hot dog, and a dessert for good measure. You’ll learn the history behind the foods and also get a taste for some of Chicago’s most popular downtown districts as we cruise through the Gold Coast, Chicago Riverwalk, Millennium Park, Buckingham Fountain, Museum Campus, Navy Pier and along the Lakefront. Whether day or night, you'll get fantastic views of the skyline and feel the city's vibrant energy. Veggie options available.
The entrance to 540 N. Lake Shore Drive is on the south side of Ohio Street just west of Lake Shore Drive. Enter through the covered driveway and our entrance is on the right just past the Driveway. Please note: you must walk through the covered driveway, no cars and no public parking.
The 18-mile Lakefront Trail has been contributing to Chicago’s cycle success since 1963. The paved path provides walkers, runners, and bicyclists with a safe and fun way to travel along the Lake Michigan, for both recreation and commuting.
On a busy Saturday in July, Oak Street Beach is packed with the blankets and swim gear of up to 300,000 Chicagoans. Pop-up bars, volleyball nets, and easy-access to downtown make this one of Chicago’s finest sandy spots.
