What to expect
Travel about 50 minutes by car from central Sapporo to enjoy smelt fishing in a quiet, private area away from crowds.
This tour includes one-way transportation from your Sapporo hotel, lunch, and return transportation to JR Ebetsu Station.
The smelt you catch can be cooked into fresh tempura right on the spot.
Fishing takes place inside a warm tent, and a fun, local guide will escort you throughout the experience, so you won’t need to worry about the cold.
