1Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau
At the settled meeting point you will be met by our tour leader who will drive you to the Auschwitz Museum and join your language group guided by the licenced local guide. The preservation of the camps helps us never forget that humans were capable of these kinds of horrors and helps us remember the lives of those tortured and killed there. Licensed Auschwitz guide will lead you through the history of the largest concentration camp complex and its role in the Holocaust. You will see the original roads, fences, watch towers and gas chambers. At the Auschwitz Museum you will learn about Holocaust and the warning from history that the camp represents. Hear the somber stories of what it was like to live at the camp as you view exhibitions containing original items from the camp prisoners. Your itinerary at the Museum will involve entrance to the Auschwitz I Museum and exhibits, a 15-minute break, and a visit to Auschwitz II-Birkenau.

2Wieliczka Salt Mine
Wieliczka Salt Mine is the place, where nature and man have created an extraordinary attraction on a world’s scale. Magic of underground salt tunnels, beautiful handcrafted chapels and charming underground lakes make this tour unique. The underground escapade changes to a trip into the past where you will see preserved historical machines, tools, salt sculptures and artworks. Wieliczka was the only mining facility that had been continuously active for 700 years - resulting in a huge underground kingdom with 240 kilometres of galleries and 2,350 chambers, reaching the depth of 327 metres - a massive feat of human effort and ingenuity. During the tour you will see just 1% of the mine (app. 2 km walk). The visitors are guided in groups and the tour takes about 3 hours. You will walk about 2km through the mine, please wear comfortable shoes. The temperature in the mine is 14°C. Light jackets in the summer are recommended.
