This is a unique experience in Lima, filled with art and traditional Amazonian culture. You will be taken to the district of Rímac, where the largest urban indigenous community in the city is located, mostly composed of people from the Shipibo-Konibo ethnicity. This community stands out for its artists and the promotion of their ancestral art. You will be our special guest, entering the home of one of the artists, learning about the meanings of the ancestral Kene, while painting your own canvas with the same natural dyes used in the Amazon.

What to expect

You will learn about the Amazonian ethnic groups, the indigenous languages of Peru, their legacy, and modern challenges. In particular, you will learn about the Shipibo-Konibo Nation, guardians of the wisdom of powerful plants such as Ayahuasca and Chakuruna. Your participation will be very active, as you will paint a piece of cloth alongside a traditional artisan, which you will then take home with you.
This is not a typical tourist route; it is a true experience of authentic Lima.
