We continue to the traditional village of Litochoro. Free time for a tour of this picturesque village and for one walk in the valley of Enipea, on the low slopes of the mountain Olympus,which is the highest Greek mountain, the residence of the twelve Ancient gods and is declared as National Park. It is internationally known as for its important ecological characteristics and incomparable natural beauty as well as for its strong relationship with Ancient Greek mythology.     Our journey begins at the ancient city and sanctuary of Dion, dedicated to Zeus, the king of the Greek gods. The site includes a large temple to Zeus, temples to Demeter and Isis, mosaics, baths, and ruins. Our guide will then take you to the Dion Museum, where you can view ancient statues and relics while learning about daily life in ancient Dion. Next, we head to the Stavros Viewpoint, offering panoramic views of Mount Olympus and the surrounding valleys—perfect for photography. After, visit the charming village of Litochoro, known for its traditional architecture, vibrant local life, and local cuisine. For the adventurous, an optional visit to the Enipeas Gorge offers a short hike through stunning natural landscapes. Don’t forget to ask your guide for gastronomic recommendations!
