Much more than a tour: A unique experience to discover the fascinating Tungueka indigenous village in one of the most beautiful places in the Colombian Caribbean. Enjoy an ecological walk through the surrounding mountains of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Upon arrival, you will be able to interact with one of the oldest indigenous tribes in the region (the Kogi) The Kogi are descendants of the Tairona culture, which flourished before the times of the Spanish conquest. They lived not much differently from modern day Kogi. The Kogi base their lifestyles on their belief in "Aluna" or "The Great Mother," their creator figure, who they believe is the force behind nature. The Kogi understand the Earth to be a living being, and see humanity as its "children."
