1Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve
8:30 am you will be pick up to reach the most important wáter dam of Arequipa city situated on the north face of el Misti. Around 9:30 am we enter into the Vicuña Reserve, the route take us gradually higher through a serpentine bumpy route between Chachani and Misti volcanos. We stop over 4000 m to enjoy this beautiful mountain scenery cover with a blanked of unique andean flora and fauna, likely we observe wild south american camelits walking in search of food and water, later on we cross the water dam to reach 4200 m the beginning of our climbing excursion. Take your time to stretch your legs, eat something and prepare yourself for this climb. Today we hike gradually up through a sandy and ashy path, stop along the trail to catch your breath, rehidrate and rest, it usually takes about 3.5 hours to reach Monte Blanco base camp situated at 4810 meters. Later, we enjoy a hot tasty dinner coked by our tour guide who also will talk to you about the plan for the next day. sleep well.

Start with a nice breakfast including coca tea and at 2:00 am we start climbing to the reach the top of El Misti. We take all our necessary climbing equipment today we have to climb for about 6.5 - 7 hours the terrains is always sandy and ashy and the inclination of the mountain will change significantly as we go higher lets do it slowly to find a good rhythm to progress efficiently. Once we reach the lips of the main cráter you will be impress by this exceptional place stop to enjoy it and keep this moment in your mind forever 10 min later we will get the Summit where we have the most exiting 360° panoramic view a really stunning landscape, take your time to enjoy all this wonder then prepare yourself to return to the base camp it takes around 1.5 hours rest, later we pack up everything and at the indicated time we continue descending the last part, other 1.5 hrs to get where our vehicle is waiting for us to take us back to the city. We end this tour in your hotel.
