The trek features an easy incline, and safety gear such as spikes or snowshoes will be provided if necessary. What to expect
We will pick you up from the hotel and bring you to the basin of the Crater.
From there you will be given Spikes/Crampons if needed and hike to the rim of the crater. The local guide will explain the view and make sure that the pase is good for all the group. While at the edge of the crater, those who wish to walk the full circle can, but others might like to stroll around the breathtaking rim, enjoy the view, enjoy some local stories. You will be back at you hotel for Brunch and Cofee.
We think there is no better way to start the day than with a 360° View of Mývatn nature reserve in the first light of the Day
