The tour to Thórsmörk is probably one of our favorites for its diversity.

It is a great balance between a hiking tour and a sightseeing tour, which an overwhelming feeling of adventure. During our day, we will cross many rivers, either with our 33inch 4x4 LandCruiser or wading through them.

We will spend the whole day away from civilization, in a remote, untouched, nature.

Our first stop will be inside of a canyon. To reach a waterfall at the end of the canyon, we will have to find our way inside of the gorge. By the end of it, we will have no other choice, but to remove our shoes and wade through the river, to reach a stunning waterfall located right beneath a skylight.

    Thorsmork

Many hikes are available in the valley of Thórsmörk. Thórsmörk is an oasis in Iceland, a lush valley with vegetation like nowhere else in the country. Our favourite hike is the one heading to the top of Valahnúkur, which offers a 360 degrees view all over the valley.
