Your tour guide will greet you at your lodge, and together you will begin your journey on the East Bank of Luxor in a luxurious, air-conditioned vehicle, heading towards the magnificent Temple of Luxor.Located on the East Bank of Luxor, the Temple of Luxor is a magnificent ancient site that dates back to around 1400 BCE. It is renowned for its grandeur and impressive architectural features, including massive columns and intricate hieroglyphics.
After visiting the Temple of Luxor, continue your journey to witness some of the most awe-inspiring religious monuments in history, including the Karnak Temples. This magnificent site was constructed as a tribute to the Gods Amon, Mut, and Khonsu. Finally, return to your Luxor hotel and take some well-deserved rest.
After enjoying a refreshing breakfast, your tour guide will collect you to explore the West Bank area. Your first destination will be the Valley of the Kings, where you will have the opportunity to view the historical tombs of the New Kingdom's kings.
Next, you will proceed to the Hatshepsut temple, the sole female temple in Egypt. This holy structure was built by the daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled over Egypt for twenty years during the 18th Dynasty (1490-1469 B.C). Queen Hatshepsut is renowned as the only female ruler with dominance over ancient Egypt.
Lastly, you will conclude the day with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, regarded as the funerary temple of Amenhotep III.
Afterwards, you will be transported to Luxor Airport for your departure.
