Embark on your Cairo journey with an Egyptologist-led tour starting from your requested location. Your first stop will be the Great Pyramids of Giza, You'll also get to see the majestic Sphinx. Afterward, the tour will take you to the Valley Temple of Khafre, which served as the reception area for the body of the royal king. This temple was also used for the process of mummification of King Khafre. Finally, get up close and personal with the Great Sphinx, a mystical creature with the body of a lion and the head of King Khafre, who stands as the protector of the Pyramids.
The Great Pyramid of Khufu remains the sole surviving wonder of the ancient seven wonders and is still standing today! It held the title of the tallest structure on Earth for over 3800 years. The pyramid complex comprises a valley temple that currently lies beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Although diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been uncovered, the site remains largely unexcavated. However, with the guidance of your expert Egyptologist, you'll have the opportunity to explore the entire area. Please note that gaining entry to the pyramid's interior requires a special ticket, but your guide will be pleased to help you with that.
Dedicated to King Chefren or Khafre, the second-tallest pyramid in the complex still stands in excellent condition. Alongside your Egyptologist, you'll have the opportunity to explore the valley temple and the causeway of King Khafre. Please note that special tickets are required to enter the pyramid's interior, but your guide will be delighted to assist you in acquiring them.
