This isn’t your 8th-grade field trip! On the Liberty Pub Crawl, you’ll visit iconic Philadelphia bars and taverns in Old City with an expert local guide. Uncover the unknown and hilarious history your teacher left out, from a Founding Mother to a devious Ben Franklin and the spies who helped win the American Revolution. Laugh with fellow travelers from around the globe while the adults finally get their turn to learn history!
The tour lasts 2 hours and 15 minutes and begins at the corner of Market Street and North 2nd Street in Old City. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Drinks are not included in the ticket price and are available for purchase separately at each bar, so you can choose exactly what you would like to enjoy. Buying a drink is never required. Walking is limited to just a few blocks, allowing guests with a wide range of physical capabilities to enjoy the crawl.

Meeting and pickup
The tour begins at corner of Market St. and N 2nd St. in Old City (203 Market St, Philadelphia, PA 19144). Your guide will be there holding a sign with our crawling baby logo.

Christ Church (Pass by)
The tour kicks off outside Christ Church where guests hear the hidden history of one of Philadelphia’s most important colonial landmarks. Their guide will share unknown stories about its connections to George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Betsy Ross, and other figures from the revolutionary era. The tour does not enter the church.

1Old City
Guests will explore historic Old City Philadelphia while visiting unique local bars. Along the way, an expert local guide will share the unknown and hilarious stories of the City of Brotherly Love, including tales of the Revolution, the Founding Fathers and Mothers, and the colorful characters who shaped Philadelphia. Drinks are available for purchase at each stop. Walking is limited to a couple of blocks.
