Taste traditional German cuisine and experience shopping in the heart of Dresden on the famous Pragerstraße.

Itinerary:

- Hotel pick-up at 8:00 am

- We will park the car at the parking lot near the Centrum-Galerie (Prager Straße)

- Then we start with a historic center tour

- After the historic center tour, you will have some time (approx. 2-3 hours) to explore the Altmarkt square and its immediate surroundings, taste the local specialties, and go shopping in the heart of Dresden on the famous (Prager Straße)

- When we are all enchanted by the wonderful city of Dresden, it's time to head back to the car

- Hotel drop-off approx. 5:30 - 6:00  pm

  • Semper Opera House (Semperoper) (Pass by)

    The Semper Opera is the opera house of the Saxon State Opera. The architect Gottfried Semper first built a theater on this site, but it fell to ashes in 1869. Semper then designed an opera house in its place. The Semper Opera House has a long history of world premieres, including major works by Richard Wagner and Richard Strauss.

  • The Dresden Zwinger (Pass by)

    The Zwinger is a complex of Baroque buildings with a garden in the Old Town of Saxon Dresden. It is one of the most significant construction works from the Baroque period in Germany. Next to the Frauenkirche, the Zwinger is the city's most famous landmark. Originally, it was supposed to be the courtyard of a magnificent castle, but it was never built.

    The Augustus Bridge is a monument that co-created the history of this significant Saxon city. The stone bridge was built around 1287, but it probably existed as a wooden one before that. In the Middle Ages, it was the longest stone bridge in Germany and was 521 meters at the time (according to other sources, it was even 40 m more).

    Frauenkirche Dresden

You can optionally ascend to the viewing platform of the dome. A height of 67 meters offers a stunning view across the city of Dresden and its surroundings. (Adults: 10 euros)
