  The Castle of Ioannina is built on the west bank of the lake on a small rocky peninsula, on the two hills of which an equal number of citadels are formed.   Limni of Ioannina with its romantic perimeter walks and melancholic morning mists is the pride of the city. Its precious jewel, the small beautiful island that "hosts". Ioannina is the capital of the prefecture of the same name, the largest city of Epirus and the commercial and cultural center of the entire Northwest Greece. They are built at an altitude of 450 meters, on the shores of Lake Pamvotida which feeds the city with centuries-old myths and traditions that go beyond the borders not only of the prefecture but also of the whole of Greece

  The residents of the Museum Complex come into contact with amazing works of art of Epirus silversmithing: weapons, jewelry, utility objects, ceramics from the 17th to the beginning of the 20th century, traditional costumes of Epirus, representation of a winter creature, representation of drowning. Frosynes, caves presenting historical events of the Second World War, paintings, lithographs and objects of folklore interest.
