In the morning between 8.00-9.00 AM we’ll organize a pick-up from the hotels located in the central part of Bucharest. We’ll have a panoramic tour of Bucharest. Highlights: Parliament Palace, Revolution Square, Athenaeum, Royal Palace, Triumph Arch, Victoriei Avenue, etc Then we’ll travel on the route to Transylvania crossing the scenic Carpathians mountains using the beautiful Prahova Valley.
In the morning between 9.00 AM we’ll organize a pick-up from the hotels or other addresses located in the central part of Bucharest. At Sinaia we’ll visit the Peles Castle, former summer residence of the kings of Romania. It was one of the most modern castles at the time of construction and it is considered one of the nicest castles to visit in Europe.
End the day in Brasov with a visit of the medieval center of Brasov, Walking tour in the Old Town of Brasov, having an old history since 1235. The main sites are: Council Square, Black Church, White and Black Towers, Weaver’s Bastion and Ecaterina’s Gate, St Nicholas Church, The Rope’s street, etc. Brasov it is a great base to use while you’re visiting Transylvania. Accommodation in a 3 stars hotel, located in the Historical Town of Brasov.
Breakfast. Depart from Brasov to explore the Saxon (German) heritages from Transylvania. We’ll visit Sighisoara (UNESCO), also called “the Pearl of Transylvania''. The city has its origins in 12-13th century and it is the best preserved medieval town in Transylvania. The Renaissance style architecture, the colourful houses, narrow streets, towers and medieval walls make the charm of this amazing place. Church on the Hill and the Clock Tower are the most important buildings.
Along the route we’ll pass charming old villages and we can admire many fortresses or old churches such as: Feldioara (Marienburg), Rupea, Saschiz, Medias, Sliminc, etc.

In the afternoon we’ll drive to Sibiu, one of the oldest and biggest medieval towns from Transylvania and former capital of this region. We’ll have a walking tour of the Sibiu’s Old District. The city is reminiscent of old European cities and it was founded in 1190 and grew to be the chief city of the Transylvanian Saxons. Highlights: the Big Square, the Small Square, The staircase Tower, the Lier’s Bridge, Evangelical, Catholic and Orthodox Cathedrals, medieval wall and fortifications. Return to Brasov. Accomodation in a 3 stars hotel, located in the historic town.
Breakfast. In the morning we will visit the famous Bran castle. Also called Dracula`s Castle, the castle got its fame from Dracula`s legend. The first documents about Bran Castle appeared in 1377. After the Bran Castle visit you can spend some time shopping for souvenirs.
Next, we’ll drive to Prejmer Fortified Church (UNESCO) a great , one of the best preserved of its kind and a sample of this unique type of religious and defensive structure, which can be seen in Transylvania only. Drive towards Bucharest where we’ll arrive around 4,00 PM. Drop-off at the airport or at a hotel in the central part of Bucharest.
