  Li River

  Yangdi Village, a peaceful riverside settlement in southern Guilin home to around 3,000 local residents. This area is widely regarded as the most scenic stretch of the entire Li River, where you’ll find the most iconic, picture‑perfect karst peaks rising dramatically from the water — the very landscape that made Guilin famous worldwide. From Yangdi Pier, we’ll board a quiet electric boat for a gentle cruise downstream to Nine‑Horse Fresco Hill, one of the Li River’s most legendary natural landmarks. This relaxing journey takes about 50 minutes, sailing slowly through crystal‑clear waters flanked by lush bamboo groves, limestone cliffs, and timeless rural scenery. These small electric boats offer a far more intimate and authentic experience than large tourist ships, letting you get close to the water and fully absorb the serene beauty of this karst landscape. Note: Each boat accommodates four passengers, so you will share the cruise with other tourists.

  Xianggong Mountain

  We will drive to Xianggong Hill, one of Guilin’s most iconic and photogenic viewpoints, ideal for travelers who want to experience the true essence of karst landscape up close. This gentle hike is suitable for most visitors. It takes approximately 20 minutes to reach the summit along a well-maintained path. The walk is enjoyable and not too strenuous, making it perfect for photography lovers and casual hikers alike. Once you reach the top, you will be greeted with a stunning, unobstructed panoramic view that stretches across the winding Li River and the dramatic, towering karst peaks that surround it. From this vantage point, you can fully appreciate why Guilin’s landscape is famous worldwide — the river curves gracefully through a sea of limestone mountains, creating picture-perfect scenery at every angle. This is widely regarded as one of the most spectacular natural views in China and an absolute must-visit spot for anyone traveling to Guilin.

  Longji Rice Terraces

  After a two hour drive, you will arrive at Ping’an Rice Terraces, one of the most stunning and earliest discovered terraces by travelers. We will have lunch at a local ethnic minority village, where you can enjoy delicious local dishes including bamboo sticky rice, bamboo chicken, smoked pork with bamboo shoots, and more. After lunch, we will head to the Ping’an parking area and take a golf cart to Viewing Platform No. 1. Along the way, you can experience the daily life of the Zhuang people and admire their traditional wooden stilt houses. From Viewing Platform No. 1, you will be greeted by a truly breathtaking panoramic view of the magnificent rice terraces. Later, you will have free time to visit Huangluo Longhair Village to learn more about the local people’s unique lifestyle and traditions.
