  Chen Clan Ancestral Hall

  Next head to Chen Clan Temple /Ancestral Hall, built by the wealthy Chen’s families in the Qing Dynasty, it showcases the most magnificent ancient architectures, with its exquisite wood, brick, stone, clay, ivory carvings and the unique and rare collections of silk embroidery, ceramics, painting etc. Get great overview of traditional Lingnan culture, custom.

  Continue the tour to Zhujiang New Town, here marvel at some of the world-class architecture such as Canton Tower, Guangzhou Opera house, Guangzhou Library, Splendid Huacheng Square, Haixin Sha etc. while learn its grand development from the ancient “Goat city” from the past years. If a nice clear day, you may choose to go to the observation deck at Canton Tower (World’s tallest TV tower) to enjoy the great view of mega Guangzhou city.

  Then head to Shamian Island, a charming, quaint oasis in the city, once was the foreign concession from Qing Dynasty, enjoy a nice stroll along cobbled streets while appreciate the historic architectures that evoking the memories of 1930’s, learn the colonial history of Guangzhou from your guide and some great photoshoots here.
