1Former French Concession
Your local great guide and the driver will meet you at the cruise port terminal. On the way, spend few mins to discuss your tailor-made tour. As the private shore excursion, the schedule, duration, and activities are entirely up to you. Following is the recommended itinerary be sure to let your guide know if you need make any adjust. First visit French Concession, once the center of colonial life, now the hottest and hippest neighborhood in Shanghai. Make a stop at Fuxing Park, where the French-style gardens pay homage to the park’s colonial beginnings, in the morning, the park offers a fantastic introduction to traditional Shanghai life as locals gather here to enjoy activities such as calligraphy, singing, ballroom dancing. Feel free to join in a dance if you wish!

2People's Square (Renmin Guang Chang)
Next head to People’s Square, known as the heart of Shanghai. Besides being a great place to observe locals going about their daily life, the square is home to the famous Marriage Market during weekends, when local parents come to find a boyfriend or girlfriend for their single children. If it's raining, you may wish to enjoy the alternative of either a visit to the world-class Shanghai Museum, with its fantastic selection of historic artefacts or the fascinating Shanghai Urban Planning Museum.

3Old Town (Nanshi)
Continue the tour to Old Town/Nanshi, Wander through its narrow alleyways and colorful markets, and if you wish, shop for tea, antiques, various local arts, handicrafts, souvenirs, or even everyday items like clothes, chopsticks etc. Enjoy the visit to the charming Yu Garden built in the Ming Dynasty. After morning activities, take a break and savor a delightful local lunch. Enjoy xiaolongbao soup dumplings, Shanghai-style noodles, or meat, fish,and vegetable dishes, washed down with plenty of tea.

4The Bund
After lunch enjoy a leisure stroll along The Bund or the Riverside Promenade (Binjiang Da Dao) that locals describe as a free museum of architecture for the varied styles on display. If clear day, you may choose to go up to one of the top observation decks at Shanghai Tower, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center or Jinmao Tower. Since this is fully customized tour, if time permits ,please also feel free to discuss with guide if you are interested to visit any other places in the followings: 1) Jade Buddha Temple ; 2)Tianzifang or M50 Art Galleries; 3) Maglev Train ride; 4)Jewish museum or Shanghai propaganda art poster center . Your tour finishes with a transfer back to your cruise ship or to the downtown Shanghai hotel if you need check-in.
