Have your introduction to Uganda with a drive through this quiet Lake shore town. Drive past the popular Muzinga Monument, one that symbolizes Uganda’s Participation in the Second World War, past the State house, drive through Entebbe Town as you continue to your hotel. If you have an early arrival into Uganda, you can visit the Botanical gardens- another sneak peak into Uganda’s beauty and nature.
After an early breakfast, our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your journey to the park, enroute you will branch off in Nakitoma- Nakasongola for a visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will enjoy a guided walk to see the Rhinos. The Sanctuary has 32 Southern White rhinos and offers the unique experience of learning more about the repopulation efforts underway. While at the sanctuary you may also encounter a range of other wildlife species including Uganda kobs, oribis, bush bucks, water bucks among others and a number of other bird species.
Enjoy the views of the Country side as you drive north west, with your second stop in Masindi Town for Lunch. Drive into the park. Upon entry you will start noticing the baboons and later warthogs among others as you drive to the lodge. Evening will be spent relaxing and unwinding from the long drive.
Drive to the top of Murchison falls, where you will be awed by its magnificence. you will feel drops of water in your face, splashing from the river as it squeezes itself through a narrow gauge when you stand at different points at the Balers' summit. Here you will also hike down to the base of the water falls and back up to the top.
Enjoy an evening game drive as you drive to your Lodge. here you will see animals such as the worth hog, Giraffes, elephants, water bucks among others. Enjoy the rest of the evening at the Lodge unwinding from the Long day.
Morning Game Drive: Wake up early and have a cup of Coffee at 6:00 am.The Driver will pick you up from the lodge to start your Game drive at 6:30 am. During the Game drive, you will be in position to see very many animals such as buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, lions, leopards, water bucks and birds among others. After the game drive at around 11:40 am, drive back to the lodge to relax/freshen up.
After your lunch, head off for the afternoon boat cruise on the Nile. While on the boat you will be able to see Nile crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, and elephants along the banks of the Nile as well as different aquatic birds such as the bee eaters, the colored kingfishers among others. The boat come as close as it is safe at the base of these falls. This cruise lasts 3 Hours.
Enjoy your breakfast, enjoy the hotel facilities for abit. Then leave the park for your travel back. You will have a stop in Masindi for lunch and continue with the journey back. You will then be dropped backed at your hotel for overnight accommodation.
immerse yourself in the rich history of Buganda Kingdom and Uganda from the Pre-colonial times, through the Arab trade,the arrival of the first European Missionaries, to the time it became a British protectorate up until today. You will also get to play the ancient musical instruments of Buganda Kingdom such as the drums and the flutes , as well as participate in the traditional dances.
Visit the Crafts Market in Entebbe for Souvenir shopping. After here, have Lunch at the biggest mall in Entebbe- Victoria Mall, afterwards go to the Airport to Catch your departure flight out of Entebbe.
