What to expect

We begin the tour in the city of Calafate where the guide will be waiting for you in the lobby of your hotel. We will leave along route No. 11, bordering Lake Argentino towards Los Glaciares National Park, located 80 km away.
From the beginning, the trip holds pleasant surprises. We will be able to observe Lake Argentino with its Bahía Redonda, which has an important variety of birdlife.
In the first 40 km you travel through the Patagonian steppe, later passing to the entrance of the National Park to observe the tree vegetation.
Arrival at “the curve of sighs” called this way because it is the first point from where we have a panoramic view of the Perito Moreno Glacier.
Brief stop to take photographs and continue to Puerto Bajo las Sombras.
Returning to the Port, we head to the Walkways where we will have a service sector for visitors and a system of balconies and walkways that allow you to walk along different routes and access different truly incredible views of the Glacier and the proximity to it.
After some free time for walking and relaxing, the return to El Calafate begins.
