then you will go to Khan El-Khalili bazaar to look around and to explore the life of the people in that market and to make barging like Egyptians that market considered the biggest and the oldest one in the middle east and it was built in the days of the Mumluks around 14th century ad time of king Barqouqe.

Alexandria Tour

Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa
Our tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby at 7:00 am to guide you to Alexandria city the Greek city that built by Alexander the great in 332 BC and you will take time around two hrs and half driving upon your arrival to Alexandria city you will visit firstly Catacomb archaeological site that was discovered by chance when a donkey legs fell off in the mouth of the shaft of the tomb that leaded to discover it in 1900 ad to be the biggest cemetery found for Greeks and Romans in Egypt and it is consisted of three floors under ground mixed between Ancient Egyptian art and Greek Roman style.

Then you will go to Pompey Pillar archaeological site to see the remains of serapium temple of goddess Serapis the Greek goddess and goddess of healing during the time of the Greek and the Romans and on the top roof of the temple pillar erected and called by mistake by the crusaders as Pompey Pillar because they thought that Pompey head was hang on the top of the pillar after he had kilt by guards of king Ptolemy the 13th during the struggle between him and Jealius Ceaser.

Then you will go to Caitbay castle that was built by Al-Ashraf Qaitbay the Mamluk sultan in 1456 AD as a kind a defense line or a fortress to defend Egypt against any enemy probably comes by the sea like the ottomans and it has been fallen in the hand of the french then the British and it was built on the original site of the light house. Then you will have lunch in nice restaurant.

Then you will go to Alexandria library to see the original site of the oldest library that was built by king Ptolemy the first and completed by king Ptolemy the second in the second century and that one built in 2003 ad on the site of the original one and it has a collections of the original library which the original library had burnt in the days of king Ptolemy the thirteen during his struggle with the roman leader Jealuis Ceaser. after that transfer you back to your hotel in Cairo.

In early morning at 4:00 am or 4:30 am you will have breakfast before moving to Abu Simbel temple by our modern vehicle to visit Abu Simbel temple of king Ramses the second that was built during the 13 century BC and it is a miracle of architecture and still a masterpiece and it was sank in the river because the flood season and saved by UNESCO organization 1970 AD. after you finishing your tour you will back to your Nile Cruise.
