This is a 4-day safari visiting the most famous national parks in Kenya, the Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. The Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the best places in Africa for wildlife viewing. Game drives are a great way to experience the park and they take place all year round. If the big cats are what
you're looking for on your Kenyan safari, you are guaranteed to spot them anywhere anytime.
Kindly wait at the hotel lobby for our driver to pick you up. For airport pickups, our driver shall hold a placard baring your name on it. Check to confirm before departures.
Pick up from Nairobi then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. On arrival, you will enter the park and have an en-route game drive as you head to your lodge located inside the park. You will check in at the lodge around lunchtime. After a short rest, you will venture out for a late afternoon game drive. Back to the lodge in the evening. Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for the colonies of flamingos that live on the shores of the Lake. Many bird species call it home and it also has numerous animal species including rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and lions among many others.
You'll have an early morning drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. It holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of wildebeest, zebras and attendant predators. You will arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive till sunset. Afterwards you will return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, we have a full-day game drive with picnic lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-manned lions, as well as its abundant resident wildlife. It's one of the few places where it's possible to see the Big Five during a morning game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under one's vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. The Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of wildebeest, zebras and attendant predators. For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these 16 species of eagles, many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 of bastard (including the koribastard, the world's heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sun birds.
You will depart Masai Mara after breakfast. On the way you will see great sceneries arriving Nairobi late afternoon followed by drop off to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight to the next destination.
