Day 1
The amphitheater of El Jem

Amphitheatre D'el Jem
We pick you up at the hotel and then the first visit will be the amphitheater of El Jem. The beautiful Coliseum of Africa to admire, with the explanations of your guide.

Matmata
Once you arrive in the south, you will visit: a Berber family living in troglodytes and the Star Wars sets. Right next to the set of the great Saga, you will have your lunch in troglodytes, a new experience for the majority.

Tamezret
A break to admire the magnificent view of the Berber village of Tamazret, an opportunity also for a good green tea with rosemary. Tama is a Berber village perched on top of the hill. Inaccessible and offers its inhabitants a clear view of the desert.

Douz
Once you arrive in Douz, extra activities are offered to you such as camel and quad (these are options, if you do not participate, you will have an hour to admire the sunset at the café). A beautiful sunset over the dunes of the Sahara. Then, you will be taken to your 4 * star hotel. You go down to your rooms and you will have time for a swim in the pool with a drink. Buffet dinner in the restaurant with a wide variety: local dishes and other specialties.

Douz Sud
You will eat in the desert, with local meals, Bedouin entertainment and music. This dinner is included. The hotel will be for accommodation and breakfast.

Chebika Oasis

After breakfast, you leave for Kebili, the capital of the region. You will cross its beautiful oasis. Its commercial center and its souk.

Chott El Jerid
Halfway between Douz and Tozeur, you will be in the middle of the great salt lake: Chot El Jerid, to watch the magnificent sunrise. A real white salt desert, it is flat, without relief, just a white layer of salt. A stop is essential to watch a magnificent sunrise. A café in the middle of this inhospitable desert offers you drinks as well as salt, sand roses and fossils.

Chebika
A guided tour of this oasis: you will discover the canyon and the small lakes of water as well as the waterfall. Prepare your swimsuits for a swim in the lake in the middle of canyons. Follow the course of the waters under the date palms full of fruits.
