    Arrive at the village Ram, located on a hill slope and a Danube bank. Visit the Ram Fortress, built in the late 15th century, on the steep rock above the Danube River. This Ottoman fortress had great significance in protecting the border between the two big empires. Enjoy the amazing view of the Danube River from the walls and the donjon tower and hear amazing stories about the history of the settlement, from Celts and Romans to the 19th century, when Ram was among the most important trading ports between Serbia and the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
