Explore Kenya’s most fascinating National parks and Game reserves. Amboseli is known for the large herds of elephants and most especially with its stunning view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Aberdares is scenic, steep forested ravines and open moorland. Wildlife to see here include leopards, elephants, black rhinos, spotted hyenas, buffalos, colobus monkeys.
Samburu National Reserve is home to some of unique wildlife, including like Grevy Zebra, Somali ostrich and Reticulated Giraffe. Ol Pejeta conservancy is known for big five, black rhino and Kenya’s only chimpanzees. Lake Nakuru is home to a huge population of pink flamingos and 400 species of birds.
Mara is known for almost guaranteed sightings of the Big 5: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. It is also popular for the annual migration of zebra and wildebeest which occurs from July to October.

A driver will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or airport early in the morning, then head toward Amboseli National Park. You'll see Mount Kilimanjaro coming into view as you travel. After checking into the lodge and having lunch, you'll head out on an afternoon game drive to look for big cats, elephants, zebras, gazelles, and buffalo across the open plains.
Following breakfast, you'll spend the full day on game drives throughout Amboseli with Mount Kilimanjaro visible in the background for photography. The reserve is home to buffaloes, lions, gazelles, cheetahs, wildebeests, hyenas, warthogs, zebras, giraffes, and baboons. A picnic lunch happens under an acacia tree, and you'll return to camp for dinner.
After a light breakfast and morning game drive to catch early hunters, you'll leave Amboseli with a picnic lunch as you drive through Nairobi toward the Aberdares. By late afternoon you'll reach Nyeri for lunch before transferring to The Ark lodge. This lodge has four viewing decks where animals come to you for game viewing without leaving your room.
You'll have breakfast then drive through rugged terrain to Samburu National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. After relaxing for a bit, you'll head out on your first afternoon game drive. Samburu offers a mix of rugged hills, grassland, woodland, swamps, and riverine forest, making it good for spotting different kinds of animals and birds.
Your full day starts early at 06:30 with a game drive before returning for breakfast. With a packed lunch, you'll explore both Samburu and Buffalo Springs Reserves looking for rare wildlife like Oryx, Gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, crocodiles, hippos, elephants, buffaloes, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and possibly leopards if you're fortunate.
After an early morning game drive and breakfast, you'll check out and drive into the Laikipia plains to Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy. You'll check in for lunch, then have free time before an evening game drive starting at 16:00 until sunset. During game drives, you'll stop at the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and may spot elephants, giraffes, white rhinos, black rhinos, buffalo, and zebras.
After breakfast, you'll depart at 08:00 for Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley. You'll stop at Thompson Falls for photos and visit Subukia viewpoint before arriving at Lake Nakuru in time to relax before lunch. The afternoon includes a game drive from 16:00 until sunset, and you'll see why the lake is known for its flamingo population and bird life.
Following an early breakfast, you'll drive through the scenic Rift Valley toward Maasai Mara, seeing hills, grasslands, extinct volcanoes, and wheat plantations along the way. You'll arrive at the game reserve in time for lunch, then relax before a late afternoon game drive. Maasai Mara is one of Kenya's most famous reserves with an impressive concentration of wildlife.
You'll spend the full day game viewing across Maasai Mara's tree-studded grassland and rolling hills. The reserve holds great herds of plain game, black-maned lions, leopards, cheetahs, numerous elephants, and virtually every type of wildlife found in Kenya. By evening, you'll drive back to the lodge for dinner.
After an early breakfast, you'll check out for one last morning game drive in Maasai Mara before heading back to Nairobi. You'll have lunch during the drive, then you'll be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your flight home.
