Day 1
Nairobi to Lake Naivasha National Park

Lake Naivasha
You'll leave Nairobi early and drive through the Rift Valley escarpment, heading toward Lake Naivasha. The landscape shifts as you descend, and you'll arrive at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort in time for lunch. After you settle into your room, there's a boat safari across the lake where you can watch hippos and various bird species. From there, you'll head to Crescent Island for a short nature walk around the island's perimeter. Back at the lodge by evening, you'll have dinner while watching hippos graze right on the grounds.

Day 2
Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara game reserve

Masai Mara National Reserve
Breakfast comes early this morning before you start the 5-hour drive to Masai Mara. You'll arrive at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge in time for lunch and a chance to freshen up. In the afternoon, you head out for a game drive through the reserve. Keep your eyes open for lions, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife, and bring binoculars for the bird-watching opportunities that come up throughout the drive.

Day 3
Masai Mara game reserve full day

Masai Mara National Reserve
This is a full day dedicated to game viewing across the Masai Mara. You'll leave the lodge before sunrise for an early morning game drive focused on tracking the Big Five and spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, and zebras. Around mid-morning, you'll head toward the Mara River banks to look for hippos in the water. You'll carry a picnic lunch that you eat out in the field, then spend the rest of the day exploring the endless plains. During this time, you might see the wildebeest migration moving in from the Serengeti, depending on the season.

Day 4
Masai mara to Nairobi

An early morning game drive takes you out from the lodge one more time. You'll return for breakfast back at the lodge, then have some time to pack. Late morning, you depart for Nairobi with a 5.5-hour drive ahead. You'll have a picnic lunch during the journey. When you arrive in Nairobi, the driver will drop you at your preferred location, marking the end of your tour.
