Cook Island, a short boat trip from the Gold Coast, is an accessible and appealing dive site for all experience levels. A colourful and interesting mix of reef and pelagic fish call Cook Island home: pufferfish, gropers, surgeonfish, anemonefish, leatherjackets, parrotfish, trevally, bullseyes and sweetlips are some of the most common residents. Photographers will find plenty of photogenic subjects, with nudibranchs, stingrays, turtles, wobbegongs and even leopard sharks over summer.

Meeting and pickup
We’re happy to offer free pickup from select Gold Coast locations! If you’d like to be picked up, just select the pickup option during your booking. We recommend checking your email when booking and again the day before your trip to stay updated on any last-minute changes due to weather.
If you're meeting us at the dive centre: Please arrive at your confirmed check-in time. You’ll find us at Gold Coast Dive Centre. Free on-street parking is available nearby.

Please Note: you do not need the Open Water Certificate.

- Customer must provide a contact number at time of booking
- All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (i.e. asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor prior to booking if you have any severe medical conditions.
- Our Try-Scuba trip requires no license or prior experience
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended.
