After breakfast, depart from Nairobi and enjoy a scenic drive through Kenya’s beautiful highlands toward the Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. The Masai Mara is worldrenowned for its incredible concentration of wildlife, and your first drive may reveal sightings of elephants, lions, cheetahs, and much more as you explore the vast savannah.
Today, you’ll enjoy a full day of game drives in the Masai Mara. Early morning drives are a chance to see predators in action before the heat of the day sets in. The Mara is part of the larger Serengeti ecosystem. In the afternoon, you can visit a local Maasai village to learn about their culture, traditions, and way of life.
After breakfast, depart the Masai Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. Lake Nakuru is famous for its large flocks of flamingos, which create a pink hue across the lake’s surface, and its population of endangered rhinos. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive around the park, spotting wildlife like waterbucks, buffalos, and the occasional leopard.
Today, depart Lake Nakuru and drive south toward Amboseli National Park, known for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After arriving at your lodge and settling in, head out for an afternoon game drive in search of Amboseli’s famous large elephant herds and other wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, and giraffes, all set against the dramatic backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain.
Spend the day exploring Amboseli on morning and afternoon game drives. The park’s open plains and swamps provide excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing, and its elephants are known for being some of the largest in Africa. Between game drives, relax at your lodge and enjoy the breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, towering in the distance.
After breakfast, bid farewell to Amboseli and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Drop off at the agreed point.
