Day 1 – Pick-up & Journey to the Masai Mara Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, airport, or residence by your professional driver-guide in a comfortable, pop-up roof safari vehicle. After a short briefing, we set off westward, descending into the Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at a scenic viewpoint for stunning photos. Along the way, enjoy sights of rural Kenyan landscapes, small farming towns, and the rolling hills of the Rift. We’ll arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in the Masai Mara — a perfect introduction to its incredible wildlife, from grazing zebras to prowling big cats. Return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay under the vast African night sky.

Day 2 – Full-Day Game Drive in the Masai Mara After an early breakfast, set out at 7:00 AM for a full-day game drive across the Masai Mara, one of Africa’s richest wildlife habitats. With your picnic lunch box packed, you’ll spend the day exploring different corners of the reserve, following herds, and tracking predators in action. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and — if lucky — the legendary big cats. Around mid-day, stop at a scenic spot inside the park to enjoy your picnic lunch surrounded by nature. Continue your adventure until 4:00 PM, then return to Mara Jambo lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park After breakfast, bid farewell to the Mara and drive north toward Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its scenic beauty and rich birdlife. Arrive in Nakuru in time for lunch at Buraha Zenoni Hotel, where you can relax before the afternoon’s adventure. At 3:30 PM, enter Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive lasting until around 6:15 PM. This park is famous for its flocks of flamingos (seasonal), endangered black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffalo, and tree-climbing lions. Your driver-guide will take you along the lake shores and through wooded areas for the best wildlife sightings before exiting the park for your overnight stay.

Day 4 – Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha & Return to Nairobi After breakfast, depart from Nakuru and make your way to Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley. Here, enjoy a scenic boat ride where you may spot hippos lazing in the water and a variety of bird species along the shoreline. Continue with a visit to Crescent Island for a guided nature walk among freely roaming wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and antelopes — all in a serene, predator-free environment. After the excursion, begin your drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or the airport — marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
