As we descend Mount Etna, we’ll enter the renowned Etna DOC wine region, home to the historic SCILIO winery. Managed by the fifth generation of the Scilio family, who have cultivated these vineyards since 1815, this winery is rich with tradition and authenticity. Luisa, the family’s daughter, will warmly welcome you into a charming, Sicilian-style rustic restaurant. Here, you’ll savor a generous charcuterie board brimming with Sicilian delicacies—salumi, olives, eggplant, and other vibrant local flavors. Alongside this feast, you’ll enjoy tastings of four distinct wines: red, white, and rosé, each showcasing the region’s unique terroir. Set in one of Etna’s most serene and secluded locations, it’s the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the atmosphere.
