Begin around 5:00 am pick up for the incredible trip of 30 to 45 minutes Hot Air Balloon flight over the west bank of Luxor and enjoy an aerial view of the country’s landscape and famous landmarks. Enjoy the sunrise illuminating the sky of the open air museum city (Luxor) over the great temples and mountains below.
Breakfast and start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to explore the Theban Necropolis by visiting the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the New kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies.
Then to the Mortuary temple of the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Listen from your guide to her exciting story and how she managed to rule as a sole Pharaoh. End your tour in the West Bank by a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon. Return back to the Cruise by noon to have your lunch. Start sailing down the River Nile, afternoon tea on the sundeck. Cross Esna Lock and overnight in Edfu.
After your breakfast, enjoy Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Back to the cruise and start sailing heading to Kom Ombo
Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the scenery of the Nile river while sailing to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Afternoon tea on the sundeck.
Late in the afternoon, stop at Kom Ombo city where to visit the unique double temple of Sobek, the crocodile God and Horus, the falcon God. Return to the cruise and have dinner followed by folkloric party operated by the cruise staff and tour guides. Continue sailing to Aswan for overnight.
Around 4 to 4:30, your guide will pick you up for Abu Simbel trip(sharing a group), to visit one of the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel with their unique design built for King Ramesses 2nd and his beloved Queen Nefertari. Drive in comfort back to Aswan. Arrive around 2:30 pm to have your lunch and free afternoon
Take your breakfast, and discover with your guide the highlights of Aswan and listen to the story of the Nubian immigration. Start your tour by visiting the High Dam; achieved in 1960 to protect Egypt from the flood and generate electric. Proceed to visit the Graeco Roman Temple dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there. Free afternoon.
You will have the chance to add the optional tour to the Nubian Village in your free morning. The boat will start the navigation around 2 to 2:30 pm. Enjoy the beautiful Nile Valley scenery and the real Egyptian life from the deck of your Cruise ship while sailing back to Luxor. Enjoy tea time on the sundeck while sailing to Kom Ombo. Other Travelers who board the cruise from Aswan will stop at Kom Ombo temple this evening. Then continue sailing to Edfu for Overnight.
Some of the travelers who board the cruise will stop at Edfu temple. Then, sailing to Esna and pass Esna Lock. Enjoy tea time on the sundeck while sailing to Luxor. The boat will arrive Luxor dock, late in the afternoon. Free evening.
Have your breakfast and check out at 8 am. Then, start your tour by visiting the largest temple ever: Karnak temple built through 2000 years, covering an area of about 63 acres.
Proceed to visit Luxor temple, where ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features are exhibited. Admire its obelisk and statues.
Finally, transfer to your final destination in Luxor (Airport, train station or Hotel in the East bank)
