Treat yourself to the experience of playfully exploring Amsterdam’s colourful area of De Pijp. Location-specific riddles will guide you from one curious spot to another, and the joy of discovery is all your to claim! This trail was created by our co-founders, Kristina & Wendy, and following in their footsteps you’ll get to enjoy a charming park, a buzzing market (warm stroopwafels anyone?), a cafe with a swing, the fascinating facade (and secrets!) of Rijksmuseum, and more!

During this experience you will:

- Explore Amsterdam during this interactive and fun discovery walk
- Keep a comfortable distance from other people throughout the experience
- Learn about the history and local stories of De Pijp in a playful way
- Solve location-based riddles to unlock directions to your next stop
- See popular sights from a different angle and discover hidden local spots

This discovery walk is an educational and fun activity for friends, couples, families, locals, visitors, and team building.

Start at the entrance to Sarphatipark, at the end of Tweede Jan van der Heijdenstraat. When you arrive, click on the link you’ve received from Secret City Trails and start the self-guided discovery game. You can start and pause the trail anytime you want, and pick-up later to finish.

Finish your adventure near Rijksmuseum. When you finish your trail, you will receive an online map with recommendations from our local creator for places to go to afterwards.
