Want a different take on the city centre? Go on this playful walk created by our co-owner Frans who was born and raised near the city, to make wonderful new memories. Follow location-based riddles to discover a turtle statue, a skinny bridge, stories on the Red light district – enter hidden gardens with river views! Along the way, learn about the history of the city and its inhabitants.

During this experience you will:

Start in front of Cafe de Waag on Nieuwmarkt. When you arrive, click on the link you’ve received from Secret City Trails and start the self-guided discovery game. You can start and pause the trail anytime you want, and pick-up later to finish.

End point
Zeedijk

End your adventure at The Zeedijk, about 100m from where you've started your adventure. When you finish your trail, you will receive an online map with recommendations from our local creator for places to go to afterwards.
