    After enjoying a morning cup of coffee, you will be transferred to the Airport in Entebbe, where you will board a flight to Kasese airstrip, located near Kibale Forest National Park. Upon arrival at Kasese airstrip, a driver will be waiting to transfer you to your accommodation in Kibale.

    Once you've settled in and had lunch, it's time for the highlight of the day: chimpanzee trekking. You will head to the park headquarters, where you will be assigned an experienced ranger guide. Together with your guide, you will embark on a thrilling trek into the forest in search of chimpanzees.

    After a hearty breakfast, we will begin our journey to Bwindi Forest National Park. Our route will take us through the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, known as Ishasha, famous for its tree climbing lions. As we traverse this picturesque landscape, we'll keep our eyes peeled for these elusive felines and other wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, leopards, and hyenas. Our safari through Ishasha offers a unique opportunity to observe these remarkable lions as they lounge lazily in the branches of fig trees, a behavior not commonly seen in other lion populations. En route, you will stop for lunch at a local restaurant or lodge, enjoying a break before continuing your journey. Resume your drive to Bwindi Forest National Park, home to the famous mountain gorillas. Upon arrival at Bwindi Forest National Park, you will check into your accommodation located inside the forest.

    After a nourishing breakfast, we'll gather at the park headquarters promptly at 7:30 am, where we'll meet with our ranger guides and receive a comprehensive briefing on gorilla trekking etiquette and safety protocols. Following the briefing, we'll be divided into small groups, each assigned to a specific gorilla family to track. The duration of the trek can vary widely, ranging from 2 to 7 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family and their movements on that particular day. After spending an unforgettable hour in the presence of these gentle giants, we'll bid farewell to the gorillas and begin our trek back to the park headquarters.

Here, depending on the timing of your departure flight, you may opt to wait at the airport or check in at a nearby hotel in Entebbe for a day room.
