Discovering the Jamaican Rainforest and Countryside allows you to see another side of our country and culture. The beautiful river that flows through our community is an amazing place to relax and connect with nature. The vibe that Lethe brings will allow you completely immerse in the Jamaican culture. My relationship with my community and my love for food allows our guests to experience the real Jamaica. Also, I think Bush Cooking skills are the best!

*Solo-travellers: when only booking for 1 traveller, an additional price of 60$ must be paid as the price is based on 2+ people or more (2 persons per Bamboo Raft). We can offer transportation when needed. If your location is different than the options provided, we can still arrange for a very affordable price.
You can come directly to us. We will meet you at the centre of the community and will guide you to the river where we do the rafting tour. We will after walk (5-7 minutes) or drive (3-4 minutes) to our location (Shaggy’s Bar and Huts) where we will eat and chill.
What to expect
Have you ever gone down a river on Bamboo Rafting? If you didn't you definitely should! The Great River is one of Jamaica most beautiful river and in runs in the middle of our community. You will learn about the history and culture of Lethe and Jamaica, taste local seasonal fruits, drink a fresh Jelly Coconut and get foot scrub from limestone that are found right under your feet in the river. This is the perfect setting for lifelong memories' pictures.
After this special experience, you will walk through the center of the town and into the jungle for a freshly cooked authentic Jerk picnic by a small waterfalls. Cooked in a Jamaican Jerk Pan with coal, we love to say that our Jerk Chicken is the best in the world! You cannot miss this very personalized Bush Cooking experience right in the middle of the jungle.
*You will be able to purchase refreshments at several points into the tours from locals and small bars and shops.
