We will explore the fabulous caves, the Buddha sculptures inside the natural caves from the 4th century. Climb up to Heaven Gate to get to the peak of the Marble of Water to enjoy the Heaven panoramic views of Da Nang city and Hoi An ancient town. Hoi An Ancient town was an international trading port of Vietnam from the 16th century. It was also a place on the Silk Road of the world so it is beautiful with lanterns, tailor shops, local markets. We will explore the beautiful ancient town and visit some historical places such as: Silkworm factory- where you can learn how the locals make silk. Dragon Bridge is a famous landmark located in the city of Da Nang, Vietnam. It is a unique bridge that stretches across the Han River and connects the city center with the eastern part of the city. The bridge is renowned for its distinctive architectural design, featuring a dragon-shaped structure that is illuminated at night, creating a magnificent spectacle. Completed in 2013, Dragon Bridge has become an iconic symbol of Da Nang and a popular attraction for tourists. The bridge is not only a functional infrastructure but also a stunning piece of art, showcasing the creativity and engineering prowess of Vietnam.
People in Son Tra Peninsula recalled that, at the time of Minh Mang King (Nguyen Dynasty, XIX century), there was a Buddha statue from nowhere to drift on the sandbank here. Believing that was an auspicious sign, people here established a shrine for worship, from that, the region was stable and fishermen could work in peace during a long time. The sandbank where the Buddha statue drifted was then named Bai But (i.e. Buddha land on earth) also was where Ling Ung pagoda erected today
