    Meteora

The Meteora monasteries are one of the most unique and spiritual places in Greece. Built on top of towering rock formations, they were originally constructed by monks seeking solitude and protection from invaders. Out of the original 24 monasteries, six are still active today and open to visitors. Each one offers stunning views, impressive architecture, and a deep sense of history and faith.
